Reviews

“Georgia Shine is one of a kind. She came highly recommended from a good friend of mine instantly when I sent out a call for a Cellist who played from the heart.

There is a serene beautiful silence in the way Georgia greets each song. She began by asking me what the song meant to me, then we delved into the backstory of why I wrote it and the space I was in at the time, before slowly making our way through the lyrics line by line and weaving ideas together.

Georgia is one of the kindest, most open minded and warm people I have ever met and she completely immerses herself in the music. When you listen to her play, you start to wonder whether the song was about her all along, that's how deeply she dances with it. From the moment her bow alights on the strings...you're done, you're just done, I've never heard anything like it; music that holds you, stapled to your seat, while each note finds vacancies to occupy in the spaces between a heartbeat.

Georgia is technically brilliant, and plays so gracefully with ideas. I could not be more proud of the record nor more thankful for what she crafted.

It's a wonderful thing to find someone so connected to their craft, and I am now honored to call Georgia a friend. There will be no one else I will turn to for cello on my songs.

I couldn't recommend Georgia enough; what she brings is breathtaking, and I look forward to working with her again soon!

Respectfully,

Tyler Nakoa”
