Welcome.
Music has both shaped and saved my life many times. I often think it is the one greatest gifts humans have ever given back to the world.
I have been playing cello since I was 8 years old, and it has been my faithful companion through the vast and grief-soaked experiences of my life.
Music, whether I have been playing it, listening or dancing to it, has always had a power to bring me home to my unique heart, here in my chest. It is my wish to do the same for others through the music I make.
I tend to draw inspiration from all around me. Dance teaches me about Music, Music teaches me about Art, Art teaches me about Life, and on it goes! Everything is connected, and the more I can consciously cooperate with who I am and where I am right now, the more the doors of choice open.
Originally from Queensland, I now reside in Southern Tasmania and enjoy collaborating across a wide range of disciplines, facilitating embodied improvisation workshops, creating music and art, practicing the Alexander Technique and dancing in the wild landscape.
This is a portfolio website where you can listen to my music, see my current offerings and send me a message if you would like to work together or book in for a lesson or session.
I invite you to take your time moving through it, and to visit regularly. I will be posting more blogs and uploading content as it emerges. If you would like to read my Moving Connections blogs, you can do so here.
For now, thank you for visiting and I hope my music and art will speak to you in a meaningful way.

βGeorgia Shine is one of a kind. She came highly recommended from a good friend of mine instantly when I sent out a call for a Cellist who played from the heart.
There is a serene beautiful silence in the way Georgia greets each song. She began by asking me what the song meant to me, then we delved into the backstory of why I wrote it and the space I was in at the time, before slowly making our way through the lyrics line by line and weaving ideas together.β β¦ Read more
